Palermo-Montecarlo continues with surprises: the favourite boat, IMOCA 60’ Malizia II (MON), is chasing 63’ Lucky (USA), who passed the gate in Porto Cervo last night in 1st position (00.46.40). The Yacht Club Monaco's boat, helmed by German Boris Herrmann, reported an expected delay (04.48.45). Behind them surprisingly follows on the route to Montecarlo Tonnere De Glen (07.00.25), who precedes in 4th position Leaps&Bounds (08.33.22). The rest of the fleet has still to cross the gate.
At the Moment Lucky (owner Bryon Ehrhart) has a nice breeze over 11 knots: if it will be remai constant, his arrival is expected this night.
